# 8233

Owned by Ken Rogers

Well worn and played thruoghout its lifetime before I aquired it in 2014 with a few repairs, many wear marks and grooves.

The Cornet was found passed down from withing a family in Ohio. " I quizzed my Dad about the history of the instrument.  He recalls that it originally belonged to his Uncle Albert Geis, but he does not remember anything more than that, how it was acquired, or if anyone actually played it.   My Dad was born in 1919, and the extended family lived in Lancaster, Ohio (Fairfield County)."
